NIACE tells us that volunteers are essential to support learning in the community. In England NIACE has worked with partners to create the Community Learning Champions programme to suport those who want to work in their community to enable lifelong learning.
The Community Learning Champions National Support Programme was established in 2009. The Support Programme aims to strengthen the role and contribution of all those who volunteer in community learning contexts. It provides information, advice and resources to share good practice and encourage adoption of the supported volunteer approach. It includes the nationally recognised and respected CLC “brand” and badge, which may be used by registered schemes and their CLCs and indicates their commitment to a voluntary national quality standard and statement of values and principles.

REFLEXION. For me the best motivation is that I want to understand different segment of our society and by volunteering in that sector. I learn a number of lessons every day and expand by knowledge and acceptance of a different lifestyle with different ages around the world in community learning contexts.
Studying this behaviour drives me understands better the life and I can contribute to the community where we are living. In global society we have an obligation to that because you can make a free and democratic society possible.

PARTICIPACIÓN frente A MANIPULACIÓN. El término participation de forma general es el proceso de compartir las decisions que afectan a la propia vida y la vida de la comunidad en al cual se vive. Es el medio por el cual se construye una democracia y es un criterio con el cual se deben juzgar las democracias. La participación es el derecho fundamental de la ciudadanía.

Manipulación como forma de no participación. Si las personas no comprenden de qué se trata (la actividad, el programa, la acción, etc) y por lo tanto no comprenden su propias acciones, entonces se trata de manipulación. Este tipo de manipualción bajo la apariencia de participación no es una forma adecuada de introducer en la democracía (p. 10).
MANIPULACION EN LA ESCUELA. Otro proceso de manipulación es cuando se piden acciones or actividades y el posterior proceso de análisis no se comparte ni se hace claro.
